Join GRAM alongside a diverse collection of community partners as we explore how wordless storytelling occurs through different forms of creativity and self-expression. In these interactive conversations, participants will learn from local experts and experience how seemingly disparate art forms share commonalities.

On November 7, join Lori A. Faulkner, associate professor and chair of the Fashion Studies program at KCAD for a presentation on how fashion designers utilize storytelling to show the creative inspiration that makes their design unique.  Where will the user be wearing the garment, what does the wearer need to be able to do in the apparel and what does the wearer wish to express in their clothing choice?

Circle Theatre has been enriching, educating, and entertaining West Michigan audiences through the theatre arts for 67 years. Enjoy a presentation by Director of Creative and Audience Development, Noddea Skidmore, along with guest designer, Caroline Cahoon as they discuss the collaboration process for the graphic design images for the 2020 season lineup of plays and musicals. Learn how the images take center stage in the theatre’s marketing and identity, while influencing the creative and design process of the production teams that bring each show to life.
